Terms & Conditions - General
Last updated: 17th September 2026 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory rights relating to faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods. Subject to the above and applicable law, SelectParts Ltd is not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or are not caused by SelectParts' breach of contract or negligence. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the SelectParts Ltd website and purchases made through it. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects or limits any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
2. Orders & Payment
All orders are subject to product availability and confirmation of the order price. We reserve the right to decline an order where we have a legitimate reason to do so, for example where an item is unavailable or a pricing or listing error has occurred. Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched. Where an order cannot be fulfilled, any payment taken for the unavailable goods will be refunded.
3. Product Information
SelectParts Ltd aims to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs, specifications and compatibility information are accurate. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the injector or other part is suitable for their particular vehicle and application. Where applicable, customers should verify the relevant OEM/part number and vehicle compatibility before ordering. Where a customer is unsure about compatibility, we recommend contacting SelectParts Ltd before placing an order. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods do not conform to the contract.
4. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–3 working days. Delivery times provided by SelectParts Ltd are estimates unless a specific delivery date or period has been expressly agreed. We use third-party delivery services and will take reasonable steps to assist with delayed, lost or damaged deliveries. Where goods are lost or damaged in transit before delivery to a consumer, SelectParts Ltd will deal with the matter in accordance with applicable consumer law.
5. Cancellation & Change-of-Mind Returns
For qualifying online consumer purchases, you have a statutory right to cancel your order without giving a reason. The cancellation period normally begins when you receive the goods and lasts for 14 days. If you exercise your cancellation right, you must notify SelectParts Ltd of your decision to cancel before the cancellation period expires. You will normally then have a further 14 days to return the goods. Where permitted by law, the cost of returning goods because of a change of mind is the customer's responsibility. Where you exercise your statutory cancellation rights, you may handle the product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. If the product has been used, fitted or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary, any reduction in value may be taken into account when calculating the refund, where permitted by law. SelectParts Ltd will refund qualifying cancelled orders in accordance with applicable consumer law. Where the customer paid for delivery, the refund will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by SelectParts Ltd, where required by law. SelectParts Ltd will not charge a restocking or administration fee.
6. Core Deposits
Where a refundable core deposit applies to a particular product, the amount, purpose and conditions applying to that deposit will be clearly stated before the customer enters into the relevant transaction. A core deposit is intended to secure the return of the customer's original corresponding component for remanufacturing or recycling purposes. Core deposits are separate from any warranty provided on the replacement product. Any core deposit arrangement will be operated in accordance with applicable consumer law.
7. Liability
If goods are faulty, not as described, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract, please contact SelectParts Ltd as soon as possible. Consumers have statutory rights in relation to goods that do not conform to the contract, including rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where applicable. These rights are separate from and additional to any SelectParts Ltd commercial warranty. Where a return is required because goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described, SelectParts Ltd will deal with the return in accordance with applicable law. SelectParts Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of parts supplied. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
8. Warranty & Security Identification
For warranty, quality-control and returns purposes, SelectParts Ltd may use tamper-evident identification, sequential QC identification and/or an invisible UV security mark. These identification measures help SelectParts Ltd verify that an item returned is the same item supplied. Please do not intentionally remove, alter, damage or attempt to obscure SelectParts Ltd's identification or security markings. Returned goods may be inspected and, where appropriate, tested as part of a warranty or return assessment. Any inspection or security-identification process does not affect or restrict your statutory consumer rights.
9. Refunds
Where a refund is due, SelectParts Ltd will process the refund using the appropriate payment method and within the timescales required by applicable law and the relevant marketplace's policies. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents a customer from exercising any statutory right to a refund.
10. Privacy
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how personal data is collected, used, stored and protected.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section affects any mandatory rights you may have under the law applicable to you or your right to bring proceedings in a court where you are entitled to do so.
